As Bankruptcy Petition Preparers (non-attorneys), we can only assist in preparing Chapter 7 or 13 bankruptcies. By law, BPPs can only charge between $125-200 in California, per bankruptcy. Los Angeles Superior Court—Internship Program
Los Angeles Superior Court implemented its volunteer, intern & extern outreach programs in July 1982 and since has become one of the largest in the nation. Volunteers, interns and externs log an average of 8,000 hours per month in more than 30 program areas.
